The AZGOP has again squashed any discussion on limiting proxies or a bylaw amendment vote on them for the 3rd consecutive time in nearly 6 years. Proxy fraud has been well documented in recent years, and is the method the John McCain faction has controlled the Republican Party for the last 13 years. 2 years ago the AZGOP prevented a vote on ANY bylaws amendments, after Chairman Jeff Dewit gave improper notice of the bylaw amendments. A bylaw amendment limiting proxies to 1 per person from the current 3 per person was to be voted on that Statutory Meeting. Instead, no discussion or vote was held. At the prior statutory meeting, a similar amendment submitted correctly and per procedure mysteriously disappeared and was never captured in any meeting minutes and was omitted from all reports by the AZGOP Bylaws Chair. This year the AZGOP Bylaws Committee has again squashed the proxy bylaw amendment from being discussed or voted upon by State Committeemen, and the AZGOP Bylaws do not allow any provision for bringing a Bylaw Amendment from the floor as it does with Resolutions.

For this reason, I am pleased to announce my candidacy for AZGOP CD1 Member at Large. Exposing this type of corruption and the need for improved Bylaws patterned after the Republican Party of Texas are the platform I will be running on. There are 3 open seats for CD1 MAL and I ask that you vote Brian Ference for the first one.
