I have written before about the new Candace Czarny slate of Doug Drake, Janet Mohr, Tom Walsh, Liz Palmer, and Jack Swonson splitting the Republican Ticket of Cave Creek and Deer Valley School Boards by promoting 5 Republicans for 3 seats on their fake club Golden Ticket. That disastrous strategy was confirmed and instead of 3 Republicans in each school district easily winning the seats in two different school boards, 2 of the 3 seats in Cave Creek and 1 of the 3 seats in Deer Valley were won by liberal democrats who will continue to promote LGBTQ, trans bathrooms, DEI, and SEL among other democrat policies.
Cave Creek School Board Candidate Cody Reim had this to say about the vote-splitting: “I entered a race to gain a seat on the Cave Creek School Board. CCUSD has been in decline for at least the previous 4 years since the current board assumed office. Since 2020 there has been an almost 30% decline in student population. I made the choice to run on a slate with two fellow Republicans and amazing Patriots, Sheri Lopez & Stacey Goodman. The official LD3 leadership made the choice to endorse us three and place us on the LD3 Golden Ticket, We also were endorsed and placed on the AZ GOP Golden Ticket. Although we received tremendous support from many Republicans and the LD leadership, our race was negatively impacted by Candace Czarney’s LLC that is posing as LD3. Candace Czarney and her LLC made the choice to recommend 5 people for our race which only had 3 positions available. This caused a massive split in the Republican vote for us and the vote was split to two other candidates (one of which is an incumbent) not only did it cause our slate to not have a single one of us be elected, it caused the two most far left incumbents to be reelected. It is very disappointing and disheartening as a Young Republican, and first time running for an office, that a fellow “Republican” group would throw such an important race in our LD. I would hope that by the Mid-Terms in 2026 these underhanded actions can be ended and close races such as school board races can have some level of understanding that they will be supported by Republicans and PCs within our LD.”
