A widely distributed letter from Ron Heuer, President of the Wisconsin Voter Alliance is making the rounds, with Heuer raising very reasonable questions similar to those I wrote recently about in my post Turning Point Action Exposed with “Mount Vernon Project” Documented Attempt to “Take over the GOP party” Seizing State Chairs and National Positions Nationwide. His letter confirms my reporting and the concerns over the project as well as continuing the thought that the “Mount Vernon Project” is very much active and in play saying TPA employs several full-time staff members who have assumed key roles within the GOP throughout the state. For instance, individuals in prominent positions in Dane and Milwaukee Counties, as well as an executive committee member in Brown County who is currently running for the position of 8th District Secretary. “

Heuer very poignantly starts his letter below with “Friend or Foe?” and goes on with some concerning observations about the behavior of those TP Action employees saying: “According to various GOP officers in the 8th District and other areas, these TPA employees have reportedly made statements disparaging the contributions of long-time, dedicated GOP members. There is an indication that TPA personnel may require alignment, (a litmus test) with TPA’s preferences to attain party membership or become seated delegates at local and state caucuses. Members in good standing are being denied the right to participate in the voting process.

This is very concerning indeed and reports indicate a widespread process happening in many other states. Heuer did not immediately respond to requests for comment and TP Action COO Tyler Bowyer actively blocks any conservative who questions him. See Heuer’s full letter below:
